This course explores contemporary motor control principles and their clinical implications for movement rehabilitation. It examines how the motor system adapts and organises movement.

It will also provide insights why traditional biomechanical and strength and conditioning models may fail to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.

The course provides an evidence-informed framework for understanding movement as a functional, context-dependent process and offers practical strategies for assessment and rehabilitation in clinical practice.

FOLLOWING THE COURSE, PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Apply motor learning and control principles in movement rehabilitation
  • Critically evaluate common rehabilitation approaches
  • Design function-focused rehabilitation programmes
  • Improve clinical reasoning and patient outcomes

  • WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR
